Summary:  Last year's S8-A winner Mnahasset moved back to Class B, so this year the title is up for grabs. 2017 runnerup Syosset has a pack and may have the edge over East Meadow after a win in the Section 8 Class championships, but this contest should be close. Justin Depinto was 3rd in last year's race, and he will be among the favorites for this year's individual title along with S8 Class winner Bryan Villafuerte.

Summary:  This contest pits last year's S8-A champ Manhasset against the S8-B king North Shore. Manhasset has a nicely compressed pack plus the higher speed ratings, so it should win here. Jack Rosencrans and Jason Linzer finished 1-2 in last week's Section 8 Class meet and in last year's Sectionals race, so they will have another go at it this year.

1

Oyster Bay

124.2

Tardugno, Casey, Keffer, Silver, Gulbin, Sweeney

Summary:  Section 8 is pretty much out of small teams even at the C level, so Oyster Bay will again be the representative for States.
