Three of the top four girls from the Indoor State Meet are back in the field to do battle once again. Sharde Johnson has cleared 5-8 this spring, and leads the field by 2-inches. Indoor State Champ Emilee Hanlon cleared 5-7 to win that title at Ocean Breeze, and Kaitlyn Bonczyk was the only other athlete over 5-5 that day. Three of the top four seeds here are all from D2, so we could see a sweep from that division of 1-2-3, but in the high jump, one of the more unpredictable events, anything can happen. | |||||
