Boys 55 Meter Hurdles

Why: It's always impressive when a Pentathlete can compete with single-event-specialists on a competitive level. Well, Kyle Garland (Germantown Academy, PA) can say that about numerous events, and the hurdles is sure one of them. At 7.25, he is the US #1 performer this year in the hurdles, as well as #2 in the HJ, and a 55-foot shot putter to boot.
Looking to challenge Garland is Isaiah Greene (West Side, NJ), with a 7.52, and Anthony Romeo (Oceanside) at 7.60.
