Welcome to the final Speed Rating National Merge of the season. It's our final look at the nation before we head into our first Post-Season Regional. This weekend will see three NXR competitions taking hold. The Speed Rating merge will transition to a regional merge, starting this Monday. There, we will give you the top teams, the top At-Large's, and the top individuals for NXN. But until then, enjoy our last edition, of the Speed Rating National Merge.

A speed rating is a number attributed to an XC performance, roughly one point per three seconds, adjusted for overall race quality and depth.
The merge predicts the outcome assuming every athlete had the best race of the season. NXN has many variables that will impact that outcome. More can be read about the calculation of speed ratings by clicking here.
