In the third spot was a Smithtown team that led the NY teams at Bowdoin, a little ahead of Niskayuna in Race 2 and with a better speed rating than Corning in Race 1. Bethlehem won at Queensbury to move up 17 spots, and Xavier moved up to 7th with an impressive win in its host race. Fairport, Monroe-Woodbury, and Sachem North all got victories on the weekend. Ithaca and Corning appear to be main hopes for the A teams against Burnt Hills in the AAA race at McQuaid on Saturday.
