Flo50 No. 2-ranked Katelyn Tuohy of North Rockland, New York, crushed the Section 1 League Championship meet on Tuesday. The sophomore took down the rest of the field by almost two minutes. Her winning time of 17:16.6 is one of the top sophomore times in the country for three miles.
The race was only Tuohy's second of the season. Earlier in the year, she won the Red Raider Run by running 16:24.99 for three miles.
Her team also got the win over Suffern, New York, 35 to 39.
