London, ENG - We told you we had quite a few New Yorkers competing in the 2017 IAAF World Championships this past week in London.  Now we check in to tally up the medals.  We ended up with four total medals, one of the highest counts for a single state.  See where they came from below, and more.

Phyllis Francis - Gold Medal

What: 400m in 49.92

Breakdown: The race of the weekend for New Yorkers, Phyllis Francis (Catherine McAuley) came off the final turn, and exploded down the finishing straight.  Not only did she win the World Title, but she set a new Personal Best to do so, her first time under 50-seconds.

Women's 4x400m - Gold Medal

What: Natasha Hastings (Prelims), Phyllis Francis

Breakdown: Natasha Hastings (AP Randolph) was part of the World Leading effort to become that fastest seed in the prelims, then was subbed in with Phyllis Francis (Catherine McAuley) in the finals to go World #10 All-Time, beating the field by 6-seconds.

Delilah Muhammad - Silver Medal

What: 400H in 53.50

Breakdown: The Top American for the past two years, Dalilah Muhammad (Cardozo) found herself second to an American at the World Champs.  Still, she now has an Olympic Gold, and World Silver for her collection.

Deajah Stevens - 5th in Final

Chris Belcher - 5th in Semi-Final

What: 100m in 10.20

Breakdown: With some wet and cold conditions, it wasn't conduisice for the fast times Chris Belcher (Sayville) was accustomed too.  After a long year in the NCAA, Belcher made it all the way to the third round, just short of the finals.

Rudy Winkler - 16th in Qualifier

What: Hammer in 68.88m
