Halle Hazzard Takes Third At OECS Championships In Grenada


Held on her home soil, the OECS Championships, aka the Organization of Eastern Carribean States, Halle Hazzard (St. Anthony's) flew down to represent Grenada in the senior Games.  Her home country would take second overall in the team scoring, after Hazzard helped her 4x100m to a 3rd place finish in the 4x100m, with a 45.86.  She also would take third in her individual event, the 100m dash, clocking a 11.76.


Also present was Amanda Crawford, who graduated HS a year early in 2016.  The former Paul Robeson standout helped Grenada run to the Silver Medal in the 4x400m, in 3:37.48.
