| All it took was one race for Richard Samuels to become a State Meet favorite. After running away from the field at the Section 9 Qualifiers, he ran to NY #1. But the State Meet won't be so easy, with plenty of athletes ready to respond. Mason Gatewood will be kicking off a tough double, but Ben Bulkeley is the Indoor State 1000m Champ, and showed how his patience could pay off Indoors. If he is in the hunt again, it may be another kick for the line. Patrick Hazlitt is looking to follow up his XC Fed win, with a D2 State Title to boot. | |||||
