West Babylon might be coming in as the top seed here, but it is much closer than their 4x400m. They were the first team under 9mins this year, after not being in the conversation until then. They pulled Ward Mellville with them, to a NY #2. Both teams will have to improve at States to keep their standings. Shenendehowa are the reigning Indoor Champs, and have made a switch in their lineup. Last year, they saw a big jump around this time, which brought them a school record of 8:50. Could they be working on the same? Fayetteville-Manlius were the State Leaders for much of the middle season, and will be looking to bring 9mins for only the third time ever. Rounding out the field is D2 favorite Bronxville, who has a proclivity for big jumps at the State Meet.
