Highland Park, NJ - Competing unattached her senior year, Paula Salmon is once again making waves. After jumping up into the Top 10 All-Time Indoors in the hurdles, she's wasting no time doing the same again Outdoors. She opened her season the week before, going 25.19 at the USATF - New York Twilight Series over 200m.
The following week, in New Jersey, Salmon took back to the hurdles. She took third overall in the 100m Hurdle Prelims, clocking a 13.80 with a legal wind-reading. She came back to the final, and moved to second in 13.87.
The mark stands as NY #7 All-Time, and US #24 this year. This mark improves upon her prior NY #10 personal best of 13.94 set in 2016. Wind-Aided, Salmon has run 13.70. Last year, Alyssa Sandy (Paul Robeson) had set the State Record in 13.45.
