Girls 800m
These ladies have spent the time together on the Armory circle this Winter. Now, they'll meet again Outdoors. Headlining the field is 1000m State Champ Kaitlin Ryan (Bronxville). The Stanford signee has run 2:06.00 in the open 800m multiple times, and will be seeing how close she can go here. But CT's Emily Phillippides (Greenwich) and Leah Sarkisian (Danbury) are bringing the competition. The State Leaders for the Nutmeg State, they both are capable of breaking under 2:10. If the pace dawdles, expect company at the front. Rounding out the top names is Ellen Byrnes (Sacred Heart Academy), who has a 2:15.36 to her name.
