No doubt, this event packs the most firepower over the two day event. You have two Cross Country State Champs going head-to-head. Class C Champion Ryan Gallagher (Briarcliff) was the runner-up at the Indoor State Meet in the 3200m, running a strong 9:14.85. Class B Champion Nathan Lawler (Pittsford-Mendon) had a rough go at the meet, but has clocked 9:24 in the past, as has Ginacarlo Cipri (Xavier). Add in Tim Euler (East Meadow), who elected to run the 1600m at States, as well as Saratoga's Shea Weilbaker and Geoff Howles, and you have a very strong field. The outside threat will come from St. Benedict's Ronald Kigen, who has broken 9:20 over in New Jersey.
