State of the Action: It was a different situation for Lauren Harris at Ocean Breeze. Pushing out the expectations from the National Record Holder, Harris was looking to set herself up nicely for a State Title, and the competition in the following week. However, she found company early, as Amelia Cuomo gave her company through the opening laps. Company was not something the National Record Holder was used to. However, Harris quickly found her groove, and separated from the field. She would go to take the title under the previous State Record, before she re-set that in early February.
