The initial batch of entries for next weekend's New Balance Indoor Nationals have been released and can be found here.

One of the highlights of this year's group of Maryland girls set to compete in the championship events is Hayley Jackson, who currently owns the 1600 time in the country. She will have her sights set on a national title as she competes in the girls championship mile at 11:50 AM on Sunday, March 12.

WATCH Green and Coffin go head-to-head for the first time this indoor season back at the Virginia Tech High School Invitational!

There will be another installment in the Coffin-Green rivalry next weekend as both are set to compete in the championship two mile. Green has bested Coffin in both of their matchups in the event this season and has seemingly pulled neck-and-neck with the now six-time state champion.

WATCH Sydney Williams clock her state-leading - and SMAC Championships record - time of 8.12 in the 55 hurdles!

Perhaps the championship 60 meter hurdles will finally reveal who the top hurdler in the state truly is. Postell and Williams currently share the top spot at 8.12 in the 55 hurdles with Harrison just one tenth of a second behind. It will also be a rematch of the 2A state championships where Harrison beat Williams by less than a tenth of a second.

Huntingtown's Harleigh White missed most of the indoor season but came back in time to qualify for NBIN with a MD #3 triple jump of 37'11.25 at the University of Kentucky High School Invitational. Last year's outdoor leader in the triple jump will look to get one more solid performance down before heading into spring healthy.
