State of the Action: While Dan Claxton's 7-foot clearance may have been historic, he'll need to work just as hard to repeat at State Champion. We've seen great jumpers foul out at States, and there is plenty of competition waiting for the opportunity to move up. Once again, it seems Section 11 leads the field in the High Jump, after sweeping the event several times in the past few years. Nakia Williams is the next best up, and at 6-8, that's a height that has won the competition in the past. | |||||
