State of the Action: Jillian Shippee is one of two athletes who are seeded to take home two individual State Titles this year. Also the top seed in the Weight Throw, the competition is a little bit closer in the Shot Put. Plenty of girls are over 40-ft this year, meaning they are all in contention with a good throw. Sade Meeks is the next best athlete, and could put a challenge on the lead. In the last five days, Meeks, Ashley Walsh, and Jodie Bonhometre all took big jumps in their personal bests, and they could keep on improving through the State Meet. | |||||
