New York College Runners Go for 2016 Nationals

NCAA D1 - Regionals Wrap-up

Men

Summary:  Syracuse again captured the Northeast regional as they go on to defend their national championship. Philo Germano is back for the Orange as still only a junior, and he was the fourth guy in for Syracuse at regionals. Columbia freshman Kenny Vasbinder took a hugely impressive at-large spot at Northeast with a 14th, and Andrew Tario's Iona squad finished 2nd to get the automatic qualifier to Nationals. In the Mid Atlantic regional, Princeton freshman Conor Lundy took the top place among NY alumni as he earned an at-large spot at Nationals. Three other NY alumni got their Nationals spots as MJ Erb led a parade of four straight Rebels across the line to win the South regional, Sibby Hanson helped the NC State Wolfpack win the Southeast,  and John Rice helped Texas finish 2nd in the South Central meet. Bryce Millar almost got a chance with Indiana, but the Hoosiers lost a tie breaker for 2nd place.
