Some races are thinner than others in terms of front end speed, but Race 5 will still hold drama. Nick Berg, a freshman from ESM, has looked strong his first two outings. He'll face off against Dylan Canarelli of Sauquoit, who took second in the race following Berg's at the ESM invitational. Looks like 170+ will be required for the win here today. Watkins Glen is doubled entered in both this race, as well as Race 7, so we're not sure where there Varsity squad will land. If here, Patrick Hazlitt can put a wrench into Section 3 sweeping the top two spots. Also, Tim Euler will have an effect if he races here (full description in Race 3) | |||||

| Much like the individual race, this could go any number of ways, depending on who toes the line. Sauquoit Valley looks to be the original favorites here, winning Class D for Section 3 last year. They again look strong, but should Watkins Glen join the race, things could get interesting. Also not to be counted out is a Vestal team that knows the course well. | |||||
