What a race! The Affolders last race in New York State turned out to be one of the most exciting. National Leader Eion Nohilly is known to sit near the back of the pack through the first 3/4's of the race, but Noah Affolder had enough of a gap to give Nohilly trouble. But Nohilly dug in, moving through the barriers to pull even with 100m to go, and it was down to a final sprint, Nohilly getting the nod. Noah Affolder takes second, while Sam Affolder lowers his national record in third, possibly the best family finish in a state meet race ever. | |||||
