Rayvon Grey Moves to NY #2 All-Time With Leap of 24-11.5 in Long Jump

Full All-Time List - Long Jump

Already NY #3 All-Time, Rayvon Grey, an LSU commit from Beacon HS, moved up the All-Time lists in New York State, steadily approaching 25-feet.  This is his 3rd set of jumps over the 24-8 mark this season.  Grey, who is also US #1 in the Triple Jump with his 49-4.5, is one of the nations top jumpers ever.

Grey is now tied at US #24 All-Time, with Troy Twillie (La, 93) and Will Coppage (La, 06).  Over the past ten years, only one person has broken 25-0 per year.  So far, Grant Holloway of Virginia has hit 25-11.5 to snag the national leader.  If Grey improves a half of an inch, he will become the first ever, second person to break 25 feet indoors in the long jump in a single year.
