The 2008 National Scholastic Indoor Championship will showcase members of the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championship Team that competed in Ostrava, Czech Republic this past summer. Join us March 14-16, 2008 to watch these athletes complete at the New Balance Track & Field Center.
The following World Youth team members are scheduled to compete at the 2008 NSIC:
Christian Taylor (GA): Triple Jump World Youth Champion
Kenneth Gilstrap (GA): 100m Bronze Medalist, member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
Isaiah Sweeney (TX): Member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
Chanelle Price (PA): World Youth 800m Finalist with an outdoor Personal Best of 2:02.38
Dylan Ferris (NC): World Youth 800m Finalist with an outdoor Personal Best of 1:49.27
Erica Alexander (TX): Member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
Chalonda Goodman (GA): World Youth 200m Silver Medalist, member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
Ashton Purvis (CA): World Youth 200m Finalist, member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
Curtis Beach (NM): Pentathlon Junior Class National Record Holder, Fourth place finish in the World Youth Octathlon
Julian Purvis (CA): 100m Hurdle World Youth Champion
Dalilah Muhammad (NY): 400m Hurdle World Youth Champion
Reggie Wyatt (CA): 400m Hurdle Silver Medalist
William Wynne (GA): 400m Hurdle World Youth Champion and World Youth Record Holder, member of Team USA's World Champion Medley Relay
