Here Come The Hills, It's The 2015 XC State Meet Course Video Walkthrough

Central Valley, NY - Section 9 brings home the State Meet, this iteration being held at Class A school Monroe-Woodbury. The course has been perfected, with several teams tackling it the year prior. But nothing will compare to the Pre-State Meet on 9/19, aptly named the Crusader Classic. The meet is already seeing high interest, and the meet directors recommend this is a course you shouldn't see for the first time on the day of states.

We met with Meet Director, Course Designer, and Boys Head XC Coach, Jim Glover. Also joining us was senior Jack Jibb, fresh from his international debut in Sweden, representing Team UK in the Steeplechase. We chat a little bit about the history of the course, what it's like to race internationally, and what to expect from the course.

Next, it was on to the course. Jibb would pace the cart through the hills to be a comparison point in the change of elevation.

Note: The course will follow the path the cart follows exactly. You will be able to see prior tire marks to designate the path ahead. All other turnoffs will be roped off during the meet.

Note: The course is currently shorter than a full 3.1mi. Some turns may be made wider, or the course may remain the same.

So hit full screen, crank the resolution up to 1080p, and enjoy the 2015 State Meet XC Course.
