Meet National Elites

The weather kept a few talented teams and athletes from competing at the meet but that didn't stop amazing performances from occurring! Top US times were posted and a State Record was broken for New Jersey.

Hurdles

A NJ STATE RECORD by Sydney McLaughlin of Union Catholic running an amazing time of 7.66 in the girls 55 meter Hurdles! That puts her US#5 ALL TIME indoors and an Eastern States meet record as well!

Chais Hill of Highland Regional and Nate Bowie of Matawan go 2nd and 3rd in the boys 55 meter hurdles with 7.40 (Hill is already faster at NJ#1) and 7.41 NJ#2.

Sprints

Taylor McLaughlin of Union Catholic only ran in the preliminaries but still posted a super quick US#5 time of 21.37 in the boys 200 meter!

Deshawne Bunion of Rahway won the boys 400 meter dash with a new personal indoor best time of 48.62! That places him US#14 and NJ#2 this season. Raymund Clarke of Roselle wasn't far behind running his own PR at 48.76 US#18.

In the girls 200 meter Haisha Bisiolu of Union HS took 2nd in the preliminaries with a US#16 time of 24.56 T-US#14, she returned to run third in the finals at 25.18. She wasn't done there also hitting a season best in the 55 meter dash with a 7.03 in finals for third US#12 NJ#1. She ran hot in the prelims as well with a 7.06.

Davon Tucker of Sterling won the boys 55 dash running 6.52 in the finals. He qualified through prelims with a 6.60 run. Tucker now ranks NJ#8!

Distance

Briana Gess of Haddonfield won the girls mile with a NJ#2 4:59.25 (4:57.51c).

Hogan Dwyer of Seton Hall Prep won the boys one mile with a time of 4:23.02.

Carleen Jeffers of Ridgewood won the girls two mile clocking in at 11:03.22.

Conor Murphy of Allentown was second in the boys two mile with a time of 9:28.50.

Relays

West Windsor Plainsboro South just keeps producing! In the DMR the WWP South girls posted a US#2 coming in at 12:01.87 for the win! Then in the girls 4x800m they run a US#13 NJ#2 time of 9:21.74.

The Riverdell boys bring in a US#18 performance in the 4x800m running 7:58.32! That is NJ#2 this season.

The Union Catholic girls ran a 3:47.03 in the 4x400m now US#4 NJ#1 and just off the meet record.

Union Catholic won the boys 4x400m with a time of 3:20.41, besting their own NJ#1 US#8 performance.

The West Windsor South Boys may have JUST fell short of winning the DMR but they still posted an awesome time with a 10:18.87 NJ#1 US#3 performance!

In the boys 4x200m Deptford was moving with a 1:30.51 finish ranking them NJ#1 so far this season! The Deptford girls did well in their 4x200m also running 1:42.45 for second place NJ#2!. The Columbia girls right behind them with a NJ#3 1:42.46!

Throws

Jessica Molina of Westwood takes back the girls NJ#2 spot with a 48-10 mark ranking her US#4 this season. This was a fantastic season for shot put, looking forward to outdoor as the battle rages on!

Andrew Tummino of River Dell won the boys shot put with a season best NJ#5 mark of 58-1!

Jumps

The boys state leader in the triple jump extended his lead! Eric Bethea of Piscataway wins with a 47-5.25 at Easterns! NJ#1 US#15!

Justes Nance of Blair Academy won the boys long jump with a mark of 22-11.25. He already holds NJ#1 with a 23-7.25 leap at the FDU Field Festival in January.

Domonique Panton of Freehold Twp won the triple jump with a 38-06 mark. She already leads the event for NJ thanks to her 40-4 leap from back in January.

Nicole Macco of Matawan won the girls pole vault with an 11-09 clearance! This was a season best for her. NJ#3

Ameer Banks High jump Delsea high jump with a state lead tying height of 6-10, Devon Bradham of Williamstown in second also at 6-10!

Kathryn Schoenauer of WWP South won the girls long jump with a NJ#3 18-3.25 mark.
